In this 3-week Beginners course held at Healium Restore, you will have the opportunity to be guided by Sharon Ghanime, SYC Authorized Level 2 teacher. We will dive into the practice of the Ashtanga Yoga, exploring asanas, breathing as well as some basic philosophical aspects of the practice.
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic form of Yoga. Movement is synchronized with rhythmic breathing as you progress through a set series of therapeutic Yoga postures. You will learn and move step by step through the fundamental postures with detailed instructions.
Week 1 Thursday June 13th 6:00 to 8:00pm:
Philosophy and Breathing techniques
Asana (foundational postures and the sequence)
Week 2 Thursday June 27th 6:00 to 8:00pm:
Philosophy and Chanting
Asana (alignment and key aspects)
During these 3 weeks (June 17th-July 3rd), you are welcome to join all the morning Mysore classes (Monday through Thursday). You must commit to attending at least 2 classes per week. Kindly show up between 6.30 and 7.30 am.

Total beginners to Yoga
Students who wish to develop a personal practice which they can take everywhere
People who have special needs
Anyone curious about Ashtanga Yoga and feels intimidated to join the Mysore classes.
