Join Gina for a gently heated vinyasa flow on Sunday October 27th from 4:00-5:00 pm at Healium Hot Yoga-West Allis for a donation-based class to benefit the Reef Renewal Foundation Curacao reefrenewalcuracao.org

The mission of Reef Renewal Foundation Curaçao is to protect and restore coral reefs in Curaçao and around the world. We seek to train, engage, and inspire the local and international community through volunteering, educational events, and outreach. We are working to develop new and innovative ways to restore reefs with the support of research collaborators and then sharing these methods with restoration projects worldwide. We aim to demonstrate that through combined efforts, there is still hope for coral reefs.

Gina has always loved the ocean and since learning to scuba dive in 2019 she has become increasingly interested in ocean conservation and marine biodiversity. Coral reefs are essential to the health of the marine ecosystem. In 2023 Gina conducted research at Curacao and learned how they replant coral fragments and work to restore the health of coral reefs through taking a two day course with RRFC. She hopes to return to volunteer one day as they are doing great work in their coral nurseries but it is an epic job and they could always use help, near and far!
