Healium Restore is a space for you to come and rest. With most of us living busy lives, we seldom give ourselves space to just be. The yoga classes you will find at this studio are meant to encourage balance within your daily life, offering you a chance to intentionally slow down. There is a special internal strength that is created when you take the time to focus specifically on the breath, and the mind body connection. In slowing down your physical practice, you are invited to strengthen the muscles of your mind and depth of your breath. The practices you learn on your mat are what help you to transition through your day to day life with comfort and ease.

PREPARING FOR CLASS

  • Try not to come to class too full, or too hungry. You may consider some light fuel closer to class time such as fruit, yogurt, or juice. Avoid heavier foods within an hour before class time.

  • Come to class feeling hydrated, and consider using the restroom before class begins.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Yoga mat (mats are available at the studio for rent)

  • Extra Layer and/or a pair of socks (if you tend to get chilly)

  • Props : at the studio, we offer bolsters, straps, and blocks. You are welcome to bring your own or anything additional you may want during your practice.

  • Water Bottle (we have a re-fill station at the studio)

WHAT TO WEAR

The most important thing is your comfort. Casual, athletic wear is best. If you are on the chillier side, you may want an extra layer available. If you are on the warm side, you may consider a layer you can shed during practice if you get too warm. For Yin & Restorative classes, consider bringing a pair of socks to keep your toes cozy.
