KARMA Class: Horizon Grief Resource Center

Grief comes into our lives in many forms and the more we can embrace it and comfort it, the more we can see through the fog it often brings. Join us for a gentle 1 hr yoga practice focused on creating space for compassion and gratitude in the midst of grief. We will focus on creating a cozy atmosphere for our brains and bodies as we learn soothing and heart-opening poses to support us in our experience. We will create space to release things that have been weighing on us, while also embracing moments of gratitude. The human experience is not meant to be held alone, so join us and help to create a compassionate community. This practice is trauma-informed, so everyone is encouraged to lean into what feels right for them - all levels of yogis are welcome!

The studio has some props, but you’re welcome to bring along your own bolsters or blankets. 

Horizon Grief Resource Center is part of the local non-profit healthcare organization, Horizon Home Care & Hospice. The Grief Resource Center offers a variety of FREE short-term counseling, grief support groups, and educational experiences to help support individuals throughout their grief journey in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas.

Donation-based yoga. 100% of all proceeds will go to the charity/organization featured. Donations of $5, $10, $15, $20, $30, or $40 welcome!
