KARMA Class: Hurricane Relief for Puerto Rico

Join Erin on Friday December 2nd at Healium Hot Yoga, 5:45-6:45 p.m. for a Gently Heated Vinyasa Flow. 100% of the proceeds will go to Techos Pa’ Mi Gente which provides relief for residents of Puerto Rico impacted by recent devastating hurricanes.

Techos Pa Mi Gente (TPMG) is a nonprofit organization (501(c)(3), that focuses on providing home reconstruction and secure housing to homeowners with low incomes impacted by the recent hurricanes in Puerto Rico that are unable to reconstruct their home and recover properly. This project was developed as part of the recovery process of Puerto Rico after the Hurricane Maria that left families without a roof and secure housing. We have identified the need to expand our project to impact and generate huge effects in reducing poverty in our communities by providing a safe housing environment thought home reconstruction. The volunteers at TPMG work hard to provide a safer and healthier home, but with the growth of the project and the needs of our communities many areas that are fundamental for the continuum of the reconstruction of homes have been affected and in need of dedicated resources. http://www.tpmgcorp.org/
